Summary and Description
of the Stimulation of Oil Reservoirs

|
There have been many methods and
processes for oil recovery in an effort to find a way for removal of immovable-unswept
oil in depleted oil fields. It has been a challenging problem from the
inception of the petroleum industry.
To date, no technology has allowed this. A very significant volume of oil is by-passed due to injected waterbreak through bottom water coning reservoir heterogeneity or vertical heterogeneity in multi layered reservoirs. This oil is not produced and remains in the reservoir because of the depletion of energy in saturated reservoirs. "Oil Enhancement Tool, L.L.C." has developed the technology enabling the generation of elastic waves downhole, delivering one hundred percent of their energy where it is needed, into the formation. The technology has been patented, is completely environmentally clean and safe, economical, and produces results within four to six weeks. This is accomplished by introducing special vibrations into the formation, which give rise to several effects in the fluids and gases in the reservoir. They decrease the cohesive and adhesive bonding, as well as a substantial part of the capillary forces, thereby allowing the hydrocarbons to flow more easily within the formation. Those vibrations that propagate into the reservoir as elastic waves will change the contact angle between the rock formation and the fluids, thereby reducing the hydraulic coefficient of friction. This allows a freer flow toward the wells, where velocity increases and creates a greater pressure drop around the well bore. Also, the elastic waves give rise to an oscillating force in the strata, which results in different accelerations because of different fluid densities. The fluids will "excite" each other due to different accelerations and create frictional heat, which, in turn, reduces their surface tensions. The elastic waves will also release trapped gas, contributing to a substantial gas lift of the oil. Most simply stated we are creating an elastic wave flood in the formation, covering approximately four and one-half square miles per hydrohammer. The leasehold owner or operator of the property will furnish to Oil Enhancement Tool, L.L.C., a list of the required field data and a complete history of the field. This data will then be analyzed by Wave Energy Resources for the well location and implementation of the energy source. During the period, the well is plugged and used as the location for the energy source, it will be an unproductive well. After placement of the bridge plug, the customer will test the casing, well head equipment, and tubing under pressure for the time directed by Wave Energy Resources. A detailed list of the requirements will be provided to the customer to prepare for installation. Reservoir Wave Stimulation requires no additional equipment, expensive well or rig modifications, and does not necessitate a large capital investment. In conclusion, it is very important to stress the fact, that implementation and use of the Hydroimpact technology is completely environmentally safe. It requires no chemicals or other environmentally harmful materials and will cause no damage to the formation, wells, or any of the equipment. The elastic wave oscillations that are emitted by Hydroimpact create a uniform disbursement of the trapped reserves. The reserve is driven by pull force of the well once it is released due to Hydroimpact. This technology is the answer for extracting the huge amounts of oil left behind in reservoirs due to the absence of adequate technology, that is, until Hydroimpact solved this problem. We look forward to hearing from you with your comments and opinion of the Hydroimpact technology after reading this material and viewing our video.
